Isaiah 61
1The Spirit of the Lord
GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2To
proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3To appoint
unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the
spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. 7For
your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall
possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them. 8For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery or burnt
offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. |

Many Are Called But Few Are Chosen. Lord, Jesus, as I enter this ministry, I
bring your presence with me. I speak your peace, your grace and your perfect order into the atmosphere of this ministry. I
acknowledge your Lordship over all that will be spoken, thought, decided and accomplished within this ministry. Lord
Jesus, I thank you for the gifts you have deposited in me. I do not take them lightly, but commit to using them responsibly
and well. Give me a fresh supply of truth and beauty on which to draw as I do your work. Anoint my creativity, my ideas, and
my energy so that even my smallest task may bring You honor. Lord when I am confused, guide me, when I am weary, energize
me. Lord, when I am burned out, infuse me with the light of your Holy Spirit. May the work that I do and the way that I do
it, bring hope, life and courage to all that I come in contact with. And, Oh Lord, even in this day's most stressful moments,
May I rest in You. In your strong and powerful name, I pray faithfully in the sweet name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister
the same one to another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak according to
the oracles of God. If any man minister, let him do it according to the ability which God giveth, that God in all things may
be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen
How do I know that I'm special? God has told me so and has confirmed it so many times through His anointed powerful
prophets. So many prophets have told me the same things such as: God said you’re special; you’re set apart, you’re
called, and He stands at awe in your presence. Now what could be more special and powerful than for God to tell you how He
feels about you other than a scripture? I’m overwhelmed and excited that the Almighty looked down and saw me. He knew
me before I was created in my mother’s womb. He called me to ministry before I knew who I was. Praise God!
I believe the Lord has a special place in
His heart for those that have been abused, neglected, mistreated and thrown away by man. He loves us all the same, but there
is a little something extra that He has given me and has shown me. So many times I failed Him, but He never let me go. So
many times I tried to give up, but He would not let me fall. He stayed there and held me close to Him. The Lord Himself told
me that I’m the Chosen
One. I’m special! And I will forever worship Him, praise Him and preach His word just as He called me to. I’m
grateful that God called me. No one can and will harm me again! Remember this... The Lord said touch not my anointed ones,
do my prophets no harm! With this scripture comes a spirit of boldness. I'm radical, I'm called, I'm anointed, I'm chosen, I'm full
of the Holy Ghost and I'm on my way to your city to tear down the strongholds of “abuse”. Watch out
devil, I’m coming after you and I'm taking you prisoner! You can best believe that!!! |
